New York City, and Myrtle Beach has a good bit of stuff to do, too.

Myrtle Beach is a major tourist destination along the South Atlantic coast of South Carolina. It is known for its wide beaches, many golf courses (both regular sized and miniature), fresh seafood restaurants, and outlet-style shopping activities. It attracts over 14 million visitors annually, usually from other Southern states or from northern Midwest states (such as Ohio). Myrtle Beach has more putt-putt courses per square mile than any other place on earth.

Alabama is not terribly exciting.
