Interestingly enough, Savannah hosts the US's second largest St. Patrick's Day Parade -- usually about half of a million people show up! The last time I was in Savannah was about 2 years ago on St. Patrick's Day Weekend. I went with my family and we rented this great condo on Tybee Island right on the beach and next to this fantastic seafood restaurant -- best crabcakes in Georgia! What I really love about Savannah is the fact that it's extremely safe and it seems like you can walk just about anywhere.

I try to go to Savannah for a long weekend at least once a year. Hands down one of my favorite cities.

This city is so peaceful. The beach is amazing, and Paula Deen's restaurant is the best!

I went to Savannah a couple of years ago for a concert. Got to walk along the Savannah River. Didn't get to see as much of it as I'd like so I'd like to go back there sometime soon.

My best friend and I love Savannah! Savannah is a relaxing Girls Getaway town because it is safe and fun. Shopping, restaurants and history along with fun ghost tours and walking tours. There are fantastic boat tours and carriage tours. You can stroll the sidewalks and enjoy the beautiful historic homes and buildings and antique shops! Don't miss it!

I would love to go on some of the ghost tours in Savannah. I went to Tybee Island early last year with the Henneberg side of the family, and it was fantastic! Molly wasn't able to attend because of work, but sent a gift basket to our hotel. She's the best! We made a special stop in Savannah one day to go to the Paula Dean restaurant "Uncle Bubba's" - it was amazing! I hear that Saint Patrick's Day is monumental there as well. =)

I've been to Savannah several times now and I have enjoyed it every time. I really appreciate the authenticity of the city. It's like a city trapped in time. I can't wait to visit again and next time I will definitely try the Hop On and Off tour.

Savannah is a great place to visit full of history. From the trolley to the nightlife there is never a dull moment. Everyone should take the book tour!
