I took advance of a great British Airways promotional fare and flew to London for 4 days. It was a city I always wanted to visit and could not pass up the opportunity. I got to do the famous Double Decker Bus, went to Harrah's Department Store, saw the Changing of the Guard at the Palace and toured the Tower of London. Great city for just a weekend visit.

So my friend went to London for a year for school, and I think I want to go just from hearing all of his stories.

I went to London a couple years ago; the street entertainers were the best part.

My parents are going to London in July. I wish I was going with them!

I totally agree. The transport system is WAY easier to navigate than what I was used to here in the States and people are way too hard on the food situation. :) I am the pickiest eater out there and there was plenty of food that I thought was good, especially their Thai food and, surprisingly, their pizza (at Pizza Express especially...Mmmmm). They also have some fantastic theatrical productions, awesome shopping, and some great little outdoor markets with fresh produce.

London is one of the greatest cities in the world to visit. The museums are fantastic, the people are friendly and the attractions are endless. It is easy to get around. Contrary to what some say, the food can be very good and the atmosphere of the Pubs is unique and fun. To walk on the same stones at the Tower of London as the Kings and Queens walks for hundreds of years is quite a walk! Be sure to book ahead as the best tours go fast ...book some of the the top tours thru http://londonenglandtours.net
